  3. actually I decided to stay away from gluten (wheat) on my own..like no doctor advice or anything :) but i felt wheat/gluten were causing bloating, hives stuff like that.. But I am not allergic or anything so if I want to eat bread sometimes I do that.. but try to keep it away from my regular diet.. And for rotti, I eat corn tortillas :)

  4. yeah thats a great choice- because gluten is one of the major allergens and most people ignore the bloating and what not- or blame something else. its great that you know how to pay attention to your body and its cues so well Mashallah. Corn tortillas as a nice substitute but being that corn is also a high allergen and something our body does not digest very well, an even better alternative it brown rice tortillas, you might find them in the frozen section- but they actually taste pretty good with desi food. I am not allergic to gluten either but also choose to avoid it and my body is pretty happy about that Alhumdulillah

  5. Thanks and Good to know it suits you also.... Yes, rice and brown rice are even better alternative.. I also tried other stuff for making rotties like quinoa, topiaca, millet, amarnath flours etc...but didn't like the taste of any of these...so it's easy to buy corn tortillas as they are available easily everywhere.. Thanks for all the valuable information you share. Keep it up ♥
